Bob and Annie's has a unique marine railway system that is capable of handling boats up to 60 Tons with a width of up to 40 feet. Watching this marine rail system is worth the trip to Bob and Annies Boatyard. Visitors to the island are often seen watching in awe as another 40 or 50 tons of boat slowly and surely moves out of the water and up the rail to be blocked and leveled and set for the next day's work. It is one of those things that is worth traveling a few extra miles just to see in action. |
