The Kubota Model EA300NB is a compact one-cylinder diesel engine that is perfect for small boats, RVs, or other off-grid applications. With a displacement of 19.0 cubic inches, this engine can deliver up to 7 horsepower at 2800 rpm. The combustion system is spherical, and the compression ratio is an impressive 23 to 1. The fuel injection pump is a Bosch “mini” type, and the nozzle type is a Bosch “throttle” type. The cooling system is a fresh water heat exchanger, and the lubricating system is forced lubricating by trochoid pump. The engine runs on #2 diesel or equivalent fuel, and the lubricating oil should be of better quality than API service CC class. The engine measures 28″ x 16″ x 15″ without the soundshield and 31.5″ x 20″ x 20″ with the soundshield. The engine weighs 185 lbs without the soundshield and 215 lbs with the soundshield.
